14 year old Jake Cunningham found running for help. He states "I was taking a walk as I saw some litter, I went to go pick it up as I saw a long snake like figure moving down to the canal." Investigators looked over the canal and found no evidence of their being a constrictor near by. Analyst Natalie Evans states that their is no possible way for their to be a constrictor in Indiana. Constrictors are native to the western hemisphere and Indiana is in the Northern hemisphere. Terminix pest control states that their could easily be a constrictor if someone decided to let their pet snake go. Terminix also states that the constrictor is probably a Kirtland's snake. More evidence is yet uncovered. If you live near the canal or like to walk along it keep your children close to you. going to to the canal is not suggested until further notice.
