In the most iconic moment of the about 200 thousand year history of human beings, we have finally made contact with living life forms of an extra terrestrial nature.
An unidentified flying object was recorded travelling at incredibly fast speeds in the eastern region of the continent of Antarctica. Scientists, who were working there to study the effects of cold environment on poisonous mushrooms, to see if these mushrooms became edible after exposure to these temperatures, found a streak of light going through the beautiful skies of the cold continent. They mentioned that it performed an unbelievable manuever in mid air before sending down thin probes to test if the area was worth risking a landing.
Dr. Jass, who was the lead scientist of the expedition, walked forwarded gingerly and established first contact. He reported seeing the craft open from the sides and a creature of unknown origin stepping out. "The creature was about 4 feet tall, he reports, with a single reddish orb on the top side of his body. It made a strange retching noise, but I couldn't figure out where from. I had to assume it was under some sort of distress", Dr. Jass said.
By this time other members of the expedition joined Dr. Jass and they decided on offering the mushrooms exposed to the icy cold, to the creatures, as a sign of welcome. Although this procedure does not match the standards and protocols set by famed space agencies, the team can be forgiven, for the emotional stress of the moment was too high. "The front part of the alien bent down and it sort of attached the mushrooms to the side of the red orb, before we saw that the mushroom disappeared", Dr. Jass confirms.
The team confirms what happened next, "Dr. Jass looked at the alien and decided to introduce himself in a way that wouldn't be threatening to the new creature. 'Hello, I'm Dr. Hugh Jass, from the Internation Institute of Mushroom Research. Welcome to the planet Earth.', he said slowly. The top part of the alien head bent sideways, and a sound came from the bottom half of the being. In plain English. We repeat, in plain English. 'Hello team, you have a great honour of working with Dr. Hugh Jass. I must inform you of the presence of my kind. We have been living on the other side of your flat earth, along with the turtles. We have studied your kind for centuries and found that a good joke on april first never fails to make people chuckle. So now, I take my leave and will let your kind experiment in mushrooms. Please have a wonderful time working under Hugh Jass. My best to his former colleague Ms. Anita Bath too. Live long and prosper humans, and take it easy once in a while. Oh, and whenever you see a guy called abhinav, tell him he's the best.'"
