Uniformed gardaí patrolling the area searched an unoccupied car parked at castleknock near a football turf pitch.
The car, a grey coloured 2000 Renault Laguna, was seized by the Gardai this afternoon in the Dublin 15 area. As part of an on-going operation carried out under Operation car theft the car was seized for these reasons. The car is believed to be an uninsured stolen Vehicle. The car was last seen driving late at night around castleknock community centre by 2 men. As part of the Gardai curriculum we had to check the cameras. There was two men seen driving the car at around 8-9 pm at but they still have not been identified. If you have any information please contact the Gardai station or stop by your closest Garda station.
