LIVE UPDATE: Not to be outdone by the jobstown House mannequin challenge, hundreds of motorists, without instruction, inadvertently set a record today for the largest mannequin challenge in Ireland. 379 cars, 34 trucks, 81 vans, 3 buses and an electric vehicle stayed absolutely still for 28 minutes on the main western artery from Dublin to the leafy hamlet of Lucan, on the outskirts of Leixlip.
"The sooner Kishogue Station is open and the Luas is extended to Lucan the better" said Mary Kelly who not only had concieved her child in her Honda Civic in Chapolizod but had given birth just coming through the M50 roundabout. "We're gonna call him Laine as he was born on one" beamed Mary with her partner, Jonno who was also delighted.
