(The Canadian Press) TSN reports that the Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired superstar center Sidney Crosby from the Pittsburgh Penguins, while giving up defenseman Jake Gardiner, center Nazem Kadri, prospects Kasperi Kapanen and Jeremy Bracco plus two first-round draft picks (2018 and 2021). The Leafs also took Carl Hagelin and the $8 million remaining on his contract, freeing up some much-needed cap space for the Penguins.
