Rochester, N.Y. – A local business development specialist has been sentenced to six months of shock probation for child sex abuse charges.
Steve Loughlin pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree sex abuse.
Prosecutors said two victims, ages 14 and 15 at the time, were subjected to abuse at Loughlin’s home on five different occasions. They were reportedly sleeping or incapacitated in some way during the abuse. He met the victims at Victory Baptist Church in Henrietta.
Steve has been sentenced to six months of shock probation, which means he will serve six months in prison, followed by 10 years of post-release probation. He has already served 106 days of the sentence, which is about three and a half months.
