On October 28, officers responded to a 911 call on the west side of Sumter South Carolina. When they got there they found a woman laying in the bushes with a gun shot wound to the chest. The 911 caller said that they saw the victim and a black guy fighting on the side of the road, when she heard a gunshot. The guy flee the scene but didn’t get far as the officers saw him running. Perry Vanburen is being charge with Murder and possession of a firearm..
