On a night that Nebraskaball has to go to war without arguably their best player in Cam Mack, their head coach and players were reportedly "verbally abused" by an Illini fan scurrying the halls of the State Farm Center. This fan was said to have a heavy set build and a "smelly" Colorado Avalanche jacket on, as he repeatedly yelled at the Nebraska locker room over and over again. His words were unable to be determined, but it was later on confirmed by authorities that Ethan Gulley of Champaign was the culprit. This is a developing story that we will keep you updated on, but you have to imagine this will be tough to overcome for Hoiberg as he already faces the daunting task of bringing this Nebraskaball program out of the trenches.
