On this day, the 13th of August, two teenagers (Logan Alexander, 15, of Portland Oregon) and his cousin (Cade Cunningham, 14, of Portland Oregon) were about to start fishing when they noticed a fish struggling to breathe. They quickly sprung into action and cast their lines into the water. Moments later they had caught the fish and gotten him out of the water, saving his life. Nearby passerby praised the two saying, “Never in my 73 years have I seen such an act of bravery and valor,”
(Thomas Long 73, of Seattle Washington). The two teens have received medals for their actions. However the fish has since died until suspicious circumstances.
