On October 25th, 2021 approximately around 11:23 P.M, Officers we’re on response to “shots fired” near the 1300 block of Lafayette street and Montgomery road, where they found a 22 year old man (unidentifiable) and 25 year old (Malaki Smith) Shot multiple times. When officers arrived at the scene the 2 victims were reported “D.O.A” by the Aurora police department and Rush/ Mercy medical team before being able to make hospital transportation. A ring camera near by shows 19 year old Jaden Reddick who goes by the street name of “Lul Jay” exiting a black vehicle with a gun, chasing down the 22 year old and 25 year old victims and emptying a clip loaded with about 23 bullets from a Glock with a illegal federal part to turn the gun into a machine gun. This morning Reddick has been arrested on 1 count of aggravated battery, 2 counts of First Degree Murder, 1counts of Use of a deadly weapon,unlawful possession of a machine gun and unlawful possession of an explosive and 2 count’s of Manslaughter with a No bond. Mr.Reddick will be reporting in court 10/29/2021 for his next hearing.
