Year in and your out the New Orleans Pelicans haven't been that great. Most recently, trading for a vet has pushed them into an automatic play-spot. Signing guard, Jose Alvarado to a 1.6 million dollar deal has helped them drastically.
But there has always been one weakness on this team. The Power Forward. Star, Zion Williamson has had three separate injuries in his first three seasons. Torn ACL, then Broken Finger, then Broken Foot. Does he want out? He has said multiple times no.
So what does that mean? Does he want to ride the bench injured his whole career? Become the next Greg Oden? I wouldn't think so. He can be great when he is healthy. But that's the problem he's played in 85 games in three years.
