Am Dienstag den 21.02.22 hat die Regierung im Bundestag beschlossen eine gewisse Menge an Cannabis für Jugendliche ab 16 zu legalisieren. Ab Frühjahr 2023 soll das Gesetz so geändert werden das jugendlich (ab 16) die Erlaubnis haben Cannabis zu konsumieren, dies aber nur in einer bestimmten menge. Die Menge beträgt höchstens 2 Gramm pro Person. Wer diese Grenze überschreitet sollte mit einer hohen Geldstrafe rechnen berichtet die Regierung. Ihre Entscheidung begründen sie damit das eine geringe menge an Cannabis keine erheblichen Probleme hervorrufen kann, und die Polizei durch dieses Gesetz sich ab 2023 auf andere und wichtigere Fälle konzentrieren kann als auf das schmuggeln und konsumieren von Cannabis
