Two Hawick men have appeared at Jedburgh sheriff court before sheriff Patterson (Monday) accused of stealing underwear from washing lines. Jay Gallagher 25 of mclagan drive Hawick and Ross mulholland 24 of Charles street Hawick both pleaded guilty and were released on bail pending sentencing. Both men have 3 previous charges for crimes relating to this charge. Both will appear at Jedburgh sheriff court November 14th for sentencing. Rory bannerman representing both accused said his clients deeply regret there foolish actions and are taking steps towards curing there underwear obsession. Sheriff Patterson warned both men to expect lengthy jail terms when they reappear. Gallagher and mullholland both left the dock in tears
