Eoghan "Power" Gallagher, a young Cregmore teen and also an avid member of both local youth organization CSE and CGM has been hospitilised after having 13 Green Ds in Loughrea.
Young Gallagher who is also a sufferer from diabetes was found passed out in claregalway yesterday evening. It appears he has got the money for paying for this amount of alcohol and the ability "to go go out all the time" by selling his "Clareen Special" banjo.
Luckily, young local hero Luke Roche administered a huge amount of insulin to Powers forehead and ear and he survived.
Eoghan is on the road to recovery and has received a new pancreas. His dreams of winning the Fleadh are again looking promising.
