Local Hornell, NY resident, Mike Palmesano, is rumored to being considered for a newly created cabinet post . Palmesano, a Sgt. Major (ret.) was a major contributor to President Trump's campaign in Steuben County working endless hours distributing lawn signs, bumper stickers, pamphlets and countless personal interviews. President Donald Trump personally hand picked Palmesano to fill the position after meeting Mike and his wife Suzy last year.
President Trump said " I've met Mike and his wonderful wife Suzy and they are great, really great people. I might go to Hornell to personally invite them to have dinner with me and my wife to discuss this position. I think this will be great. Really really great"
President Trump will schedule a news conference in the near future before the swearing in ceremony should Palmesano accept.
