A 14 foot great white shark was caught by Matanzas beach area in fisherman's net. The shark weighed more than 2000 lbs and had drown in the net. Two boats were needed to get the creature to shore. Researchers guess that this will not be a 'solitary' occurance. Sightings have been frequent this summer- 16 in the last month alone.
