A recently retired musician from Michigan City IN., is set to record 6 full tracks with Sir Paul McCartney this fall, according to a Billboard report.
Bruce Strelinsky, 62 of Michigan City had recently entered a songwriting contest sponsored by Billboard Magazine. He was one of 247 runners up,and beat out 36 finalists (w/the help of McCartney himself) to win the grand prize of $4500 in music gear (courtesy of Sam Ash Music) and the grand prize of recording with the music legend.
"We're proud to be a part of such a widening interest in the craft of songwriting." McCartney said.
Strelinsky was reportedly not available for comment, although was said to be undergoing
medical treatment for anxiety upon being informed of the news.
