In what can only be described as a bizarre turn of events, KADK-Miam has reported that Dolphin's owner Stephen Ross tore his ACL Wednesday, chasing a defiant Cocker Spaniel down at Cocanut Grove Dog Park in Miami . Known for entertaining jinx type superstitions, many NFL players and fans were beginning to raise eyebrows after a string of recent Dolphin player injuries. This incident may understandably put them over the top.
Ross is the chairman and majority owner of The Related Companies, a global real estate development firm he founded in 1972. Related is best known for developing the Time Warner Center, where Ross lives and works, as well as the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. According to Forbes magazine, Ross had a net worth of $12 billion. Ross is also the principal owner of Hard Rock Stadium. He enjoys basket weaving, wearing assless leather chaps to Piggly Wiggly's while juggling falafels over by the celery where he barks "What the hell are you staring at!" at store customers.
