There has been a mandatory US recall of public steps, all steps including moving steps, otherwise known as escalators will be eradicated. After several decades of research and compelling data of injuries there has been a decision to make this recall. All public steps will be replaced with slides along with the existing handicap ramps. Experts are even considering water slides in certain areas where climates are warmer.
