AP, Los Angeles: After a 2 year study done by Samsung and Apple, the two largest tech giants in the cell phone industry, they've decided to eliminate the phone feature which will leave their new flagship models in 2021 without any way to make a "classic phone call". The research done by ALM Reasearch LLC shows that only about 3.4 percent of people use their device as a phone for phone calls. Eliminating the calling feature frees up more ram and processor speed for games and fun apps. "They will be called devices and not phones, people can use 3rd party apps to communicate with friends and coworkers" said Samsung spokesman Nu Wankakal Yu in a statement this morning. Verizon has already announced they plan on suing the tech companies for damages due to the fact that cell phone carriers will be a thing of the past.
