About two hours ago, a fleet of Russian military bomber planes blitzed a street to the ground in a northern area of Baku, Azerbaijan. This event was part of what has become Azerbaijan’s worst nightmare, the Baku Blitz. Russian television aired the news that Sergei Lavrov had claimed that the military would be resilient and never back down, even if it meant that World War III would commence. When Azerbaijani military personnel and police arrived at the scene, they found that the Russian military had reduced the neighbourhood to nothing but rubble; even concluding that twenty four people were killed with fifteen others injured. One man said he heard loud noises from outside and fled the street before the Russians could kill him.
With the first part of the Baku Blitz commencing, who knows what other bombings or raids Azerbaijan will face?
