As part of his campaign promise President Donald J Trump has okayed a one time adjustment for homeowners. To qualify you must be a full time US citizen (dual citizenship will not be approved), hold the deed to the property, and be registered to vote in their state of residence. The adjustment will be disbursed in the following manner says Trump advisors;
The full amount will be applied to the applicants taxable income.
The applicant can use the adjustment to pay their tax debt and will receive a check for the remaining balance.
If the applicant does not owe taxes they will receive a check for the full amount.
Officials say the terms of this credit have yet to be agreed upon, but it will reflect as much a 20 of the property value
This credit is said to be being pushed through Congress and should be approved for disbursment by June of 2017.
