A man has been arrested on suspicion of a range of arson attacks across Islington, Tottenham and Crouch End in North London. Lee Mendez originally from Hackney in East London is currently being questioned by police because of suspected Arson attacks having been seen on CCTV near one of the scenes.
It has been stated by the metropolitan police that a substantial amount of damage has been caused by the fires. One witness described a warehouse being broken into then minutes later a big blaze started to appear. The witness called the police and fire brigade and police attended the scene in short notice.
