According to North Carolina State Board it will be illegal to serve beer and cut in hard parts as of January 1st 2018. After much thought and consideration we have determined this practice unbecoming of traditional barbering. "It's just more of a trend that is truly unsettling" one board member stated. We are all about growing the industry but in the right way. The liability of serving or having to serve beer in a barbershop to retain a customer base is disturbing. We want all shops to be successful, however mixing a trade with deep historical roots with alcohol is something we're not interested in at this time. More information on this subject and others to be eliminated or implemented will be available in a news letter sent to all N.C. shop.
