In a stunning development, Candace Taylor, a senior at Academy of Holy Angels in a Minneapolis suburb, attended school Friday morning. Ms. Taylor, who previously had missed days of school for "sickness" and other related events, was not expected to attend school Friday.
Friends and fellow students at Holy Angels expressed their shock and disbelief.
"I was caught off guard", said fellow senior Nick Tracy, "I assumed that with Friday being a busy day and with her under the weather recently that she wouldn't make the arduous trek to school, but I was wrong."
Tracy also noted how all of Ms. Taylor's friends are all "rooting for her" and that "she can do it."
