Huge snake nests found in creeks of Ballard, and Massac County.
Game and Wildlife experts are trying to determine how these highly dangerous snakes have come to the area.
As of Sunday, five seperate nests have been found. Each housing one hundred to, two hundred snakes.
They are basically breeder dens. Most being in the open creek beds of Soredo, and Massac Creek.
Game and Wildlife are setting up posts, near popular creek openings, as the holiday weekend approaches. Creek riding is a popular activity in the area.
Local Authorities are asking all landowners, that are connected to the creeks, to stop anyone from entering the creeks from their property.
