Last Tuesday, October 25, 2016, a Waterford Mason Middle School student was told he would be playing his last game that day. Anthony Beasley of Waterford Township, 13, was told by his coach that "This will be the last game you play with the Mason Middle School Football Team." A heart broken Anthony told his parents Nicole and Karina Roberts of Pontiac, that he was no longer apart of his football team due to having a "nontraditional family." "The things he has overcome this year because of football, and then they hit us with this," mother Nicole Roberts says.
