A local Hurricane, WV woman recently told her husband she would like a new "rock" to celebrate their anniversary. He took her literally, and actually gave her a rock, well, many of them. "I really couldn't believe he didn't have a clue what I meant; I mean 'diamonds are a girl's best friend, and he gave me a yard full of river rocks." Her husband said he spent "damn near 50 bucks on the cost of getting them sandblasted with the kids names." A former Miss Hurricane, the wife accepted the rocks with grace but said "I didn't want them in the house; they may have bugs or worms crawling in them," so she put them in the yard. She included her hobbies as "taking care of my animals and my grandchildren; and sometimes I make him a pie, but after these rocks all he may be getting now is jello."
