Residents in the quiet, yet normally dry neighborhood of Forest Hills are angry and wet, due to a recent surge in rainfall that seems to specifically target their area.
And their cold soaked fingers are pointed at local resident Youn Jung Lee, pictured here apparently attempting to summon a rainstorm in Iceland, as the rainy day culprit.
"Every time she goes out for a 'walk' , next thing I know the sky opens up and OY VEY it pours from the sky. It's meshugganah" says neighbor Sylvia Schartzensteinbaum. Locals suspect that Ms. Lee is disguising some form of nature controlling witchcraft under the veil of a new work out routine that involves long power walks.
Local authorities have been swamped with complaints about the mysterious power walker. " We're watching her very close, you know, just keeping an eye on her. Weather control powers are a far greater threat to the community here in the 112 precinct than robberies or assaults" says a Police Officer who wishes to remain anonymous.
Even Youn Jung's mother expressed distress over the situation "Every time she goes out walking it rains and then I can't get to Snowy Rose!!!"
