“On September 21st, social media will be limited to advisors and administration only,” says technology department.
School officials intend to inform students about banning social media use in school on the week of September 22nd. Recent staff meetings have presented an ongoing problem with social media usage on Chromebooks, specifically twitter. Limited technology in schools is directly linked to increased test scores and attentiveness.
“Misuse of technology has been an ongoing problem” says teachers at Franklin High School, “I see kids on twitter in my class and end up having to not use the chromebooks at all” says another.
