Walmart Canada Corp. the Canadian division of Walmart, has it's sites set on Shippagan, NB. as a part of an ongoing Canada wide expansion.
Walmart says it plans to add 17 new stores in small towns across the country over the next 12 months.
The expansion plan announced Wednesday is expected to cost $240 million and create 2,100 construction jobs, 900 in-store jobs and 2500 new positions at distribution centres across the country.
