In a 2017 study from Cambridge institute of Illinois, scientist show that 18 out 20 subjects appeared to speak with other accents ,actually was another person.One subject a 27 year old woman spoke in a German accent and gave a location where she was from in Germany. Scientist confirmed that the town in Germany she mention did in fact exist. Making her infact German. Another subject spoke in a British accent and told scientist of a her full name, after much research scientist confirmed that , that is actually a British last name..confirming in fact , she is British. Out of the 20 studied only 2 of them could not speak in an accent..showing that they did not have multiple personalities. More research is to be done on the subject.
