Sources confirm that a Sasquatch has been captured in rural West Virginia. Barbour County sheriffs deputies responded to a call that gunshots were heard on Cherry Hill road, and found that a large ape-like creature had been tranquilized by a resident in the area. Neighbors report that someone (or something) has been stealing laundry from clotheslines over the past couple of days, particularly women's undergarments.
The animal was subdued by Adam Payne of Morgantown. Although he is seen as a local hero, Payne declined to speak to reporters. The animal is currently in custody of the WV Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries.
