A shift in the tectonic plate around Lameque Island has caused it to sink one meter below it's usual level. Rémi Duguay, visiting his home village of Cap Bateau was surprised when it happened because he was walking on the beach and all of a sudden he was all wet as the water hit him. Geologist are trying to figure out why this happened only on Lameque Island.
