Local Rescue Cascade Disrupts Sorrento Mesa Business Productivity

On Thursday July 13th, Engineering Test Manager Kari Niebell took her pet ‘Cascade’ (a rescue with separation anxiety from Second Chance Dog Rescue) into her Sorrento Mesa office to beat the heat, and to help with Cascade’s anxiety. Little did Ms. Niebell know that on that day her plan would back-fire. During the CCB meeting, specifically while the change order process was being discussed, Cascade began to bark incessantly. The disruption may have started because office goody four shoes ‘Bella’ walked by, proudly displaying how to behave in a business environment. Or, based upon an anonymous Internet-based canine psychiatrist, who believes it could have been something more significant. “The canine has a distinct ability to manage small to medium sized herds. In a way, that’s very similar to managing a project. I believe Cascade was either trying to approve of, or disapprove of, the course of the discussion at that given moment”. This reporter simply thinks Cascade was being a bad girl, being the yin to Bella’s yang.
