Per numerous sources Jarome Iginla has officially announced his plans after retirement. Jarome will run for mayor of Calgary and will publicly announce this weekend in the Saddledome arena during Stampede. Iginla stated "Calgary has been such a huge part of my life and with much discussion with my family I have decided to run for mayor at next election". Date and time will be announced in the coming days.
