A recent law passed in West Virginia has effectively made it illegal to ride motorcycles on any major roadway. Statistics from the West Virginia Department of Transportation show that 78 of motorcycle crashes end in fatalities. This law is intended to decrease the amount of deaths caused by motorcycle collisions. Although citizens may still own their bikes they may not be permitted on the road.
