After a fire marshal from Troop B, who has yet to be identified, got into a heated battle with a newly promoted Corporal, who is on the mounted unit, the department has decided to put them back in uniform and out on the road. LT. Col. CHRISTIE, a former member of the mounted unit, confirmed this after a telephone call was placed to her, when this information was leaked. Col. BLOCKER related that there wasn't a need to fill the Corporal position for that unit because nobody would ever fill the shoes of former Corporal Thomas Maher, now known as Waynesburg 1. He feels that putting these members back on the road and having each of them getting no less than 50 pinches per month would really help the revenue for the state of Pennsylvania. Sgt. Scott KROFCHECK, IAD West, was not available for comment, in reference to the internal investigation into the insubordination of the Troop B Fire Marshal unit member. An anonymous source, within the department, is expecting midnight desk duty for that member for an undetermined amount of time.
